How to Be Saved by Grace through Faith

So, you have found yourself here AT FORESTS EDGE, asking the question. How can I be saved?

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

(Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV)

THE APOSTLE PAUL ON THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

(1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4 NKJV)

Would you believe me if I told you that the most important decision you can make in your life is also the least complicated one?

It’s as easy as ABC.

In fact, I would like to share with you the ABCs of salvation that I got from a dear pastor that I have been learning from for over a decade now. I don’t remember if he had the ABCs when I surrendered my life to the Lord, but currently, he shares them at the end of his services. 

A- admit

ADMIT THAT YOU’RE A SINNER. This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our minds and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out.

B- believe

BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was.

C- call

CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings.

If you have made the choice to be SAVED! Praise the Lord we are now sisters in Christ!

Your past no longer counts against you and God has already begun a work IN you that He is faithful to complete!
